As an organisation that believes passionately in equality, we want to express our solidarity with our Black, Asian and minority ethnic staff following the death of George Floyd.
We are committed to working with our Black, Asian and minority ethnic forum to support our many colleagues across the ICR who feel strongly that Black Lives Matter.
Ethnic equality is a fundamental measure of the health of our society, and is critical in all areas, from policing to our own area of scientific research.
At the ICR, we value all our people, and know there is more we need to do to improve representation across all areas of our work, and to act as a beacon in building diversity in research.
It's crucial too that we stand with all our many colleagues from minority ethnic backgrounds, continue to listen to their concerns, and build with them a more equal future.
