From supermarket collections to cake sales, bike rides or fun runs, there are so many ways you can fundraise for The Institute of Cancer Research.
Our scientists and clinicians are working in our labs every day to make the discoveries that defeat cancer, and we rely on generous fundraisers like you to help fund our world-leading cancer research.
Whatever you choose to do, we want to make fundraising for the ICR as easy (and fun!) as possible. If you need some inspiration, check out our A-Z of fundraising ideas. But whatever you choose to do, we would love for you to do it for us and we'll support you however we can.
Celebration Giving
If you are celebrating a birthday, wedding, anniversary or retirement, congratulations from everyone at the ICR. You could ask for donations to the ICR instead of gifts – which is a wonderful way to celebrate your special occasion whilst helping to improve the lives of cancer patients across the world.
"I went to my local curry house one evening and got chatting to the owners. By the time I’d left I had bought every seat in the house for the last day of February and had agreed to sell off the tickets to friends and family. We had an amazing evening - I held an auction for random items that people had brought along, including selling a banana for £12! Including ticket sales and a slice of the booze profits we raised £550." - James Fuller, who held a curry night at his local curry house.
"The dinner party was brilliant – I think everyone had a nice time, the food turned out well and I raised £175 on the night! I had a couple of last minute drop outs, so I am really pleased with that! My employer will also match fund this, so that's almost £400 raised!" - Vicki Hackett, who held a dinner party at her house.
