It’s fast, it’s loud and it’s bigger than ever this year! Don’t miss your chance to see your favourite stars as they hit the court for annual celebrity basketball event DUNK n FUNK.

CUP Promotions present the 4th annual Dunk ’n’ Funk celebrity basketball event, taking place on Sunday 30th March 2003 at Crystal Palace National Indoor Arena, in aid of The Everyman Campaign.

Dunk’n’Funk combines the hugely popular sport of basketball with the coolest music acts, TV and sport stars in a slam-dunking spectacular in aid of charity.

Previously, celebrity players have included ‘Dane Bowers’, ‘Liberty X’, ‘Sara Cox’, ‘Ralf Little’, Kris Akabusi MBE, Olympic high jumper ‘Ben Challenger’, ‘Terri Dwyer’, ‘Troy Titus Adams’, ‘Katy Hill’, ‘Trey Farley’ as well as cast members from The Bill, Casualty, Brookside and Big Brother, amongst others.

Confirmed celebrities for this year so far include: Dane Bowers, DJ Spoony, Timmi Magic and Mikee B (Radio 1’s Dreem Team), girl band Charli that supported Blue on their recent tour, Judi Shekoni (Precious, Eastenders), Adele Silva (Emmerdale), Jakki Degg (Model), Lisa Kay and Kate Baines (Hollyoaks). Stars will hit the court at 12 noon and as in previous years the afternoon will be crammed full of entertainment including celebrity ‘Shoot Outs’ and audience participation with the chance for members of the crowd to shoot some hoops alongside their favourite stars. And not forgetting it’s Mothers Day, a special prize goes to the top mum who wins the ‘Mothers Days Shoot Out’

The Everyman Campaign to fight Testicular Cancer is run by The Institute Of Cancer Research. The Everyman Campaign has gone from strength to strength since it began in 1997. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer amongst young men aged between 20–35. Cases of testicular cancer have risen by 70% in the last 20 years and the reasons are not yet known. If caught early enough, the disease can have a 96% cure rate.
